In recent years, I have been able to utilize my passion for road cycling to helping raising funds to support childhood cancer awareness, research, and family support.
I have been fortunate to cycle and fundraise for an amazing charity called Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation (CTCACF), both in the 2016 National Kids Cancer Ride (from Vancouver to Halifax) and so far in the 2016 and 2017 Alberta Tour for Kids. These events continue to raise much needed finances and support for children and familiies facing the devastating news of a cancer diagnosis. Research spending on childhood cancers is less than 4% of budgets spent on cancer research in Canada and the U.S. CTCACF is a huge supporter of advocacy, research and family support in every Canadian Province and Territory,
